KPCC Interviews Cara Horowitz on Governor Brown’s Environmental Bills

Cara Horowitz, co-executive director of the Emmett Institute on Climate Change and the Environment, was interviewed on KPCC’s “Take Two” to discuss Governor Brown’s release of two environmental bills. Up until Monday, July 10th, the future of California’s cap-and-trade program looked uncertain, but with the release of the two bills, it will be extended to the year 2030. “One of the bills tackles climate cap-and-trade extension, and the other tackles these more longstanding, traditional air quality concerns,” explained Horowitz.
