http://www.calbar.ca.gov. February Bar Examination applications are available in October and are usually due around November 1. Applications for the July Bar Examination are available starting March 1 and are due around April 1. We highly recommend that you apply online as soon as the application is available so you can get your first choice of site (and maybe hotel reservations if you want to stay nearby).
Once the California Bar determines your eligibility to sit for the exam, they will mail a Law School Certificate to the Office of the Registrar to verify completion of your legal education and the awarding of your degree. Graduating students are certified after all grades are received for their final semester, i.e., in January for the February bar and in June for the July bar.
