Assistant Dean, Dean of Students: Elizabeth Cheadle 

UCLA School of Law's Office of the Dean for Students addresses and responds to the issues that are important to current students. In addition to the services listed below, this office also provides academic and non-academic counseling to individual students. Together with the Registrar’s/Student Records Office and the Financial Aid Office, the Office of the Dean for Students offers support and assistance to current students, hoping to make their time at UCLA School of Law as productive and collegial as possible. Services include:

• Facilitation of student contact with law faculty and other administrators
• Academic and non-academic counseling and assist with referrals to various campus resources
• Assistance with issues of performance, adjustment concerns, stress reduction, and other personal matters
• Administrative liaison to SBA and other student groups
• Assistance to student groups to plan events and secure University funding
• Administration of the New Student Mentoring Program
• Coordination of Orientation, Commencement and other student programming
• Coordination of the publication of Summary of Academic Standards and Related Procedures and other informational materials
• Information on School of Law rules and procedures and mechanisms for redress of problems or concerns
