Marc Bender teaches Lawyering Skills and assists in supervising UCLA’s Trial Advocacy Clinic.

After graduating from the University of California Hastings College of the Law, Professor Bender became a staff attorney for Bet Tzedek Legal Services, where he eventually became a litigation and training supervisor. During this time, Professor Bender also served as volunteer supervisor for the Labor Defense Network of Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, whose country-wide clinics provide representation for low-income workers in employment matters. Additionally, Professor Bender served as a member of the L.A. Garment Workers’ Coalition, and as legal supervisor of garment workers’ union rights, as well as wage and hour cases.

Professor Bender also coaches basketball and baseball at the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks.
