BBC Interviews Eugene Volokh and Adam Winkler on Prospect of Gun Control after Virginia Shooting

Professors Eugene Volokh and Adam Winkler were interviewed by the BBC in a discussion of how a recent shooting in Virginia, in which a Congressman and others were wounded, has raised the specter, but not the likelihood, of legislation on gun control. 

“It would be a quixotic and empty attempt to disarm criminals that would seriously interfere with the rights of millions of law-abiding citizens,” remarked Volokh about the possibility of restricting guns.

“Republicans have proven impervious to mass shootings and I don't think you'll see any reforms now," said Winkler.
