Panelists include legendary music attorney John Branca '75, Oscar-winning director Taylor Hackford ("Ray," 2004), the International Documentary Association's Carrie Lozano, USC Communications Professor Chris Smith and star entertainment litigator Howard Weitzman.
Dale Cohen, special counsel for PBS Frontline and Director of the Documentary Film Legal Clinic at UCLA School of Law, will moderate a robust discussion of ethics and the law in documentary filmmaking and several of the best-known (and most controversial) recent films.
