This round table discussion is the first in a series hosted by the Initiative for Animals in Our Food System supported by the Animal Welfare Trust, housed at the Resnick Program for Food Law & Policy at UCLA Law School. The goal of this Initiative is to examine issues at the intersection of food law and animal law by gathering experts from a variety of disciplines to identify paths forward in public
health, food safety, humane treatment of animals, and protection for food workers.
