The Epstein Program is excited to welcome our Spring 2019 Margaret Levy Public Interest Fellow, Vanita Gupta. Vanita Gupta is president and CEO of The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, the nation’s oldest and largest civil rights coalition charged by its diverse membership of more than 200 national organizations to promote and protect the civil and human rights of all persons in the United States. As someone who has spent decades advocating for the rights of people of color, immigrants, and those incarcerated or detained, Vanita will speak to the challenges and opportunities of securing justice in the current political landscape.
