Mr. Consoli teaches M&A Due Diligence at UCLA School of Law, a course he authored and initially taught at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law over several years.

Mr. Consoli is a founding partner of Massumi + Consoli LLP, a boutique law firm expert in structuring and negotiating complex transactions in the fields of Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions. MCLLP's clients are private funds and other financial institutions, along with their portfolio companies, and growing, established and/or acquisitive companies.

Prior to founding MCLLP, Mr. Consoli practiced with the private equity and M&A group of Kirkland & Ellis LLP in Los Angeles where he represented numerous private equity funds and their broad range of portfolio companies in complex transactions.

Mr. Consoli received the Regents Scholarship from the University of California, Los Angeles where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, summa cum laude. Mr. Consoli then received a Dean’s Merit Scholarship from UCLA School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor degree.

Mr. Consoli also sits on the Executive Committee of the Santa Monica Bay Chapter of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and the Advisory Board for the University of Southern California Gould School of Law and LACBA Corporate Law Departments Section Institute for Corporate Counsel, and he has been a guest speaker on M&A-related topics at the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Among other accolades, the Los Angeles Times named Mr. Consoli a Legal Visionary, the Los Angeles Business Journal named Mr. Consoli one of the Most Influential Private Equity Advisors in Los Angeles and a Leader of Influence as a Private Equity Advisor and Mr. Consoli has been recognized as a Southern California Super Lawyers “Rising Star” in M&A over several years.

Mr. Consoli is licensed to practice law in the State of California and the State of New York.
