Jodi Kruger co-teaches Advanced Legal Research. She is the Director of Reference & Research Services at UCLA Hugh and Hazel Darling Law Library. Before joining UCLA, Kruger was the Associate Director for Reference Services at the Pepperdine University School of Law Library.
Kruger also previously practiced law, specializing in employment and labor law. She worked at Littler Mendelson and Epstein, Turner & Song and was in-house employment counsel for Countrywide Home Loans.
Kruger received her B.A. in Government from Cornell University, where she was the President of the speech and debate team. She subsequently earned her J.D. from Cornell Law School, where she was on the Cornell International Law Journal and was Chancellor of the moot court board. Following more than a decade of legal practice, Kruger returned to school, obtaining her M.L.I.S. with distinction from UCLA Graduate School of Education and Information Science.
