Stephanie Davidson is Director of Externship and Field Placement Programs at UCLA School of Law. She previously served as Clinical Instructor in the Domestic Violence and Family Law Unit of the Legal Services Center (LSC) at Harvard Law School where she litigated alongside student attorneys in the Massachusetts District and Family Courts and co-taught seminars on the dynamics of domestic violence, client and case management, principles of trauma-informed and client-centered lawyering, and family law advocacy. Prior to her role at Harvard Law School, Davidson was a Public Service Venture Fund Fellow at the Urban Justice Center’s Domestic Violence Project in New York City, where she provided legal services to low-income survivors of domestic violence in Manhattan and Queens, and specialized in financial abuse.
Davidson received her B.A. magna cum laude from Columbia University, and her J.D. from Harvard Law School. During law school, she received the Gary Bellow Public Service Award as well as the Dean’s Commencement Award for Community Leadership. She was president of the Harvard Women’s Law Association and was articles editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Gender.
