Emmett Institute Named Beneficiary for 2014 Climate Ride

The Emmett Institute on Climate Change and the Environment has been selected as a beneficiary for the 2014 Climate Ride events. Climate Ride, which is known as the “green conference on wheels,” features a nightly speaker series that includes discussions with some of the best and brightest minds in environmental policy, advocacy and innovation. Climate Ride Midwest (Sept 6-9, 2014) begins in Grand Rapids Michigan and explores the back roads of Lake Michigan. Climate Ride NYC-DC (Sept 20-24, 2014 connects two of the nation’s iconic cities – New York City and Washington, D.C., with a hero’s welcome and rally at the steps of the U.S. Capitol.  UCLA School of Law Professor Ted Parson will participate in, and be a featured speaker at, the NYC-DC Climate Ride.

If you are interested to support us, you can join our team or donate to support Ted. All dollars raised for the institute from the Climate Ride events will be matched by Dan Emmett, chairman of Santa Monica-based Douglas Emmett, Inc. and the founder of the Emmett Institute.
