Kim Kessler’s radio show “Eating Matters” – Episode 4 aired on October 2nd on Heritage Radio Network

October 2, 2014 – Kim Kessler, Policy and Special Programs Director of the Resnick Program for Food Law and Policy, aired the fourth episode of “Eating Matters,” on Heritage Radio Network titled “Insuring Better Health.” In this episode, Kim welcomes Denis Stearns, Cathy Nonas, and Samuel Wiseman, as they discuss produce that is sold at farmer’s markets, as well as the new partnership between the Girl Scouts of America and Nesquick to promote cookie-flavored drinks. After the break, Carlye Burd and David Flemister from Emblem Health discuss ways that Emblem is trying to change the health of the communities they work in by making the connection between food and health.
