April 17, 2015 – Professor Emeritus Gary Blasi commented on the full financial effects of Los Angeles’ homelessness problem, which a recent city report found to be upwards of $100 million a year. His comments appear in a Los Angeles Times article.
Blasi said, “It’s thoughtful and a positive step to look at resources the city already is spending that produces very little. People need to understand it is more humane and cost-effective to help people become not homeless.”
