December 4, 2015 – Professor Cara Horowitz was featured in an Associated Press video interview, “California’s Stake in the Climate Change Battle.” According to the Associated Press, California has been a leader in the fight against climate change for years, keeping pace with major European nations in carbon-cutting goals and providing an example on how to foster economic growth while reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
“California’s motivations for being a leader on climate change policy are clear. California has a lot at stake,” said Horowitz. “California has figured out how to grow its GDP, while bending down the curve of emissions. That’s part of what’s been a really powerful lesson for the rest of the globe.”
