Professor Volokh Cited By CNN in Op-ed Discussing “Undue Burden” Rationale for Pro-choice and Pro-gun Legislation

June 29, 2016—Professor Eugene Volokh was quoted on about an op-ed, whose author proposed that the same rationale that a court used to decide that “undue burden” should not be placed on a women’s right to have an abortion, should also not be placed on an individual’s choice to own a gun. The author believes that the boundaries of limitation for what constitutes “undue burden” on these rights should be held to the same standards of strict scrutiny.
