Daily Bruin Speaks With Victor Narro on L.A.’s Potential Legalization of Street Vending

The Daily Bruin spoke with Professor Victor Narro, project director at the UCLA Institute for Research on Labor and Employment, about pending legislation to legalize street vending in Los Angeles. The legislation would allow vendors to sell their goods on city streets, including in Westwood, but permits would be required. According to Narro, street vendors may benefit Los Angeles communities by contributing to local economics as consumers and producers.
