Joanna Schwartz Comments in L.A. Times on Supreme Court Shielding Police on Wrongful-Shooting Claims

Professor Joanna Schwartz commented in the Los Angeles Times in an article about how the Supreme Court in recent years has regularly shielded police from being sued, even when officers wrongly shoot innocent people in their own homes.  Repeatedly, the court has blocked suits that could establish clearer rules. This may "encourage a 'shoot first, think later' policy," Schwartz said, faulting the court for refusing to set limits for the police.
