Eugene Volokh Talks to Politifact about CA Bill’s Effect on Sale of Bibles

Professor Eugene Volokh spoke to Politifact about California bill 2943, a measure that puts strict limits on programs that aim to change a person’s sexual orientation.  Given citations of Bible verses could be used by a service that offers to change a person’s sexual orientation, some groups have argued that Bible sales will be prohibited.  Volokh dismissed the idea that simply selling the Bible would be affected, because people buy Bibles for many reasons that lie outside the bill.
