I do not have one of those candidate accounts, but I might suggest you look
at the latest version of CRS's summary of campaign finance:

Dear Colleagues:

I will be teaching a seminar this fall focused on campaign speech and
finance. For purposes of context, I would like to provide the students with
some kind of very general overview of what the modern campaign environment is
like. Can anyone suggest a lively and illuminating (but hopefully short
and accessible) account of what it’s like to be a candidate today? Maybe a
political memoir? A tell-all article by a campaign operative?

Thanks for any suggestions!

Jim
