[EL] Primary and Other Turnout Data

Like Michael McDonald, I will be tracking primary and general election data
throughout 2012. I will be issuing periodic reports which will be blogged
here and at my blog, csaelectorate.blogspot.com.

My denominator for turnout is eligible citizens -- those age-eligible,
minus non-citizens and interpolated between Censuses. It is the only
denominator available for all primaries.and for all general elections since
1860. But the judgment of what denominator to use is in the hands of the
user.

One last affirmation: With the exceptions of exceedingly modest
contributions to Reps. David Price and Howard Berman (friends of more than
40 years standing), as in past years (with three contribution exceptions),
I will not be engaged in any capacity in partisan activities
