The more relevant question, I think, is why are Dems pushing more disclosure on top of the extensive disclosure we already have, especially in federal contracting, where the Administration's representative could not offer a single reason why more disclosure is necessary?
Answer that question - and we all know the answer, don't we? - and you've got one answer. The other answer, of course, is that it is a needless invasion of privacy.
