The redistricting project at Columbia Law School has now produced nonpartisan congressional maps for all 435 U.S. House districts. The maps can be viewed at www.drawcongress.org . Most of these plans are of the "least change" or "good government" variety, and several states have more than one plan featured. The project will continue through the summer and into next year as we continue to post additional plans, especially ones that attempt to maximize partisan competition or achieve proportional representation. In addition to the maps produced by the Columbia law students, we have also posted maps submitted to us by others, including about a dozen maps drawn by Yale Law Students. Anyone who would like their maps to appear on the website should submit them to me or send me a link where I can find them. A press release about drawcongress.org is available here:
