In addition to Rep. Harper's views in the blog linked to today,
concerning the fate of the EAC via HR 672, the opposition to the bill
was well argued in the floor yesterday by Rep. Gonzalez and Hoyer, to
name a few.  The Hill has an overview post on that debate and
concludes that it might be tough for the bill's supporters to find the
40 Dem votes they need to pass it under suspension:
