Per our previous discussion, are the Republicans hurt or helped by this new
 map? LOL Jim Bopp

The Massachusetts Legislature's Joint Redistricting Committee issued its
new congressional district maps this afternoon. Massachusetts lost one of
its 10 congressional districts. The redrawn districts pits two incumbents
-- Stephen Lynch and William Keating -- in the redrawn 8th district. But
Keating can avoid facing Lynch and run in the re-drawn 9th district if he
(Keating) uses his summer home in Bourne (on Cape Cod), which he has owned
for the past 17 years, as his legal address. At least this is the current
thinking.
