[EL] equal time doctrine question

[Smithson, Charlie [LEGIS]]

State candidate is an employee of a radio station as on-air personality.  He will not be expressly advocating for his campaign and his work does not seem to involve discussions about issues that involve the campaign/election.

Does the equal time doctrine apply so that if his opponent demands it must the station provide the same amount of time to his opponent?
