[EL] Romney's residency

Residency didn't necessarily have bearing on Romney not choosing Scott
Brown. Constitutionally, it would only bar him from receiving electoral
college votes from Massachusetts (possibly not even all the MA EC votes;
I'm unclear on this), which he wouldn't have been likely to win anyway.
Since I'm adding to this thread, I'll add that I fear that opportunistic
off-topic pivoting from the daily election law news email, is driving away
attention from election law experts who'd otherwise be interested in making
on-topic contributions to this listserv.
