[EL] Xenophobia in campaign finance

EL-ers,

I propose we handle this like our forefathers decided who was
black and regulated black people. There must be a way of determining
what portion of a company is owned by foreigners. People were “black”
if they were 1/8 or more of black blood. (If they were just 1/8, they
were oct-something. Octroons? Octrooshes?)
If a company is 1/8 or more of foreign investment, let’s treat it
as “foreign” and ban it from involvement in American elections
(including advertising). Or maybe a 10% threshold would be less
fraught with painful memories.
     Or we could have integration.

  - dah

p.s. I hope that wasn’t “appalling or off-the-charts.”
