[EL] Strange PPP poll results about ACORN

Just a couple points here:
-PPP is left leaning, but Rasmussen who you cite, leans right. I've seen
serious questions about Rasmussen's methodology (he uses recorded
questions) and not about PPP.
-I never said, or even applied, that there arent a lot of people on the
left who might have similarly ridiculous conspiracy theories. The
difference is that there was never a national movement to pass a bunch of
laws that were justified by everyone from the house speaker to some state
legislator in florida, on false premises. In other words, I didn't see Dems
use the widespread trutherism to do something nefarious for partisan gain,
as repubs are doing wrt voter id and false beliefs about voter fraud.
-of course fox and limbaugh didnt say acorn stole 9 million votes. They
obsessively cover these minor and debatable occurences (eg acorn canvassers
turn in fake registrations because they just want to get paid, no evidence
that these registrations are actually used by anyone.) They dont point out
that even if, say, 150 ppl voted under these fake registrations (and in
fact the number appears to be zero) it wouldnt swing PA, much less the
election. If you listen Rush, you dont make that assumption, but apparently
a lot of people do. You deny their existence merely because you dont know
them. I find that unpersuasive
