[EL] The enemies list, then and now

Hello all -

I urge folks to follow the trail laid out in the Power Line story referenced, including the editorials by Strassel.  Only then will you realize just how non-existent the link between the president and investigations of Frank VanderSloot (who reportedly is or has been one of Gov. Romney's 2012 national finance chairs, as well as a large donor to SuperPACs supporting Gov. Romney) is.

To be clear, if there were a link between being a high-level Romney 2012 finance guy (or even a regular donor) and increased governmental scrutiny, that would be very problematic.  However, it appears that all we have is a listing of VanderSloot on the Obama-Biden site as a not so savory character - a characterization that would not surprise most who follow Glenn Greenwald or Rachel Maddow due their stories about VanderSloot - and investigations that might well be routine for a businessman with presumably complex holdings.

Without more, there is no there there.
