It should say the 5th edition! Mea culpa! May you live so long that you hit a 45th edition!

Your Minnesota syllabus indicates that you will be using the 45th edition of the Lowenstein, Hasen, Tokaji casebook.

As my grandmother used to say, from your mouth to God's ears!

(The 5th edition ships next week.)

Hi all:

FYI: I am teaching Election Law at both the University of Minnesota and Hamline Law Schools this fall. I decided to enclose my syllabi for both classes. I have supplemental reading packet that includes many Minnesota cases but it is too big to post on this listserv. If anyone wants it let me know.

Note that the UMN class I use the Lowenstein book and it is a seminar. Just to change things around I decided to use the Smith text at Hamline. It is more work for me but I thought it would be fun to experiment. The two classes are similar in many ways but I there are some differences and I will also be curious to see what differences texts make.

If others want to share Election Law syllabi please do so.

The first year I taught Election Law was 1999. Wow!
