[EL] Addresses of student voters

There may in fact be a substantial distinction.   There is a federal law that prohibits colleges and universities from disclosing or making available student records.   I'm not sure whether addresses are included, but I'm reasonably sure they are.   Otherwise some pretty creepy people would be asking for the addresses of cheerleaders or who knows which other students.  Even vertification of addresses recorded at a previous time could pose privacy problems for continuing students.



By contrast, the disclosures of campaign contributors are mandated, not prohibited, by law.
