The story is here

Although the article refers to "internal DOJ documents" I do not see any 
of them posted in the story, so at this point there will be a dispute 
over the veracity and/or accuracy of the story.  I will update if there 
are any corroborating documents posted.

If the story is true, it would be a parallel to the overruling of voting 
section career attorneys by the Bush Administration when it came to 
Georgia's voter i.d. law
