[EL] Old Los Angeles Data

I'm looking for individual campaign donor data for Los Angeles elections before 1999.  I contacted the Los Angeles City Ethics Commission regarding individual donor data for this period, but the commission was only able to provide aggregate totals - the individual donor information was evidently lost during a system transition at some point.

If anybody has these old Los Angeles data or knows of someone who might have them, I would appreciate your help.  Thanks.
