[EL] Fwd: Statement by Democracy 21 President Fred Wertheimer On Presidential Nominations to FEC Made Today

I can only speculate, and hope Don joins the other former FEC commissioners
on the listserv soon.

That said, without giving any credence to D21's characterization of McGahn
as "undermining" the law or demeaning any of the other commissioners, it's
clear he was a strong force at the FEC.
