[EL] does any state track voter registration by age group?

Amen to the inaccurate birth dates. I've seen many mid-19th century birth
dates and at least one date from the first millennium. Lists also
include infants and toddlers, according to their birth dates, and then
there are people with zeros for day and month of birth, and others with day
and month transposed. The frequency of bad birth dates probably is one of
the reasons that list-matching has proved to be hopelessly inaccurate. And
all the more reason to make registration automatic rather than optional at
NVRA agencies, were data entry errors are less common - although I recall
one of the Gabor sisters getting in trouble because her driver's license
birth date was 20 years after her actual birth date.
