[EL] Election law list -- address database housekeeping

Hello, all.

A few weeks ago, I mentioned
<http://department-lists.uci.edu/pipermail/law-election/2013-August/007615.html>
that Rick had set up an election law address book
<https://webdb.lls.edu/electlaw> -- a database of email and snail mail
addresses for listserv readers who wish to be included. It's
password-protected (username "election", password available through Sara
Galloway (sgalloway at law.uci.edu <mailto:sgalloway at law.uci.edu>)) to
provide some protection against spam. It was originally intended as a
repository of contact information for those who wished to receive
reprints, though that certainly needn't be its only function.

Several of you -- enough to keep the database going -- mentioned that it
was still useful, and there are now 105 entries. Which leaves two
housekeeping notes:

1. The location of the database has moved (since Loyola recently
changed servers). It's now at https://webdb.lls.edu/electlaw.

2. I know that several of the entries on the database are outdated. If
you might once have put your name into the database, and have moved in
the last few years, _please take a moment to check (or delete) your
entry_. If you've got no interest in being in the database anymore,
deleting your entry is fine ... but as is, an outdated wrong address is
just a waste of postage for someone who wants to send you something.

Thanks.
