Subject: [EL] Federal Ethics Panel Discussion hosted by GW Political Law Studies Initiative
On behalf of the Steering Committee of the George Washington Law School’s Political Law Studies Initiative, ably chaired by Bill McGinley of Patton Boggs, and organized through the egregious arm-twistin--, I mean, uh, the unique energy and tenacity of GW Law Professor Spencer Overton, I’m pleased to invite the People of the Election Law Listserv to attend PLSI’s upcoming Panel Discussion on Federal Ethics Rules & Political Law Networking Reception.
The event will be held a week from Thursday, on September 12th, 2013, at 6:00pm in the Burns Library Great Room on the ground floor of the GW Law School, 2000 H St. NW, Washington, DC 20052. Bill and I will co-moderate the discussion, which will feature Allison George of the Office of Government Ethics, John Sassaman of the Senate Select Committee on Ethics, and Dan Schwager of the House Committee on Ethics.
Please RSVP to GW.PLSI.events at gmail.com<mailto:GW.PLSI.events at gmail.com> if you’d like to attend, but please note that in order to encourage a candid discussion, this event is not open to the press. We’ll look forward to seeing many of you there next week. Thanks!
Best,
Joe
