[EL] can anyone help me with this research inquiry on old redistricing?

Does anyone know a method to learn the date the Georgia legislature passed the legislative redistricting bill following the 1980 census?  I know the Georgia legislature was late with redistricting, and didn't do it until early 1982.  I phoned a research library in Georgia and they will try to help me.  But apparently the legislature's web page doesn't go back that far for old bill history, and also apparently there is no easily available newspaper index for any Atlanta newspaper for that year, although that is not clear.  They will look and telephone me when they find something, if they can.


I happen to own a 1982 Georgia election code but it says the district boundaries were not printed in that book.
