This maybe slightly off topic, maybe not, but this is tragic. As a  former 
high school and college debater, I thought that I learned very valuable  
skills there -- logical thinking, how to marshal evidence to support your  
position, how to ask and answer questions, etc.
 
Simply said, what we see here is the death of reason.  Jim  Bopp
