As usual Brad is right.
Several years ago at CCP I wrote a blog post about the claim that Fox News had gone to court to argue that they had a First Amendment right to lie. Nothing of the sort happened of course, but that didn't prevent certain gullible/hysterical activists, operatives, and reporters from taking the claim at face value and running with it.
So I fully expect the headlines to read along the lines of "SCOTUS agrees anti-abortion group can lie in ads" and for this to become a staple in the talking points of pro-choice groups, and even the progressive/liberal community as a whole. "Did you know that radical-right extremists even went to court to claim they have a First Amendment right to lie?"
