CCP
<http://www.campaignfreedom.org/2014/05/09/legislative-review-2013-state-legislative-trends-campaign-contribution-limits-increase-in-nine-states/>:
"As this Legislative Review explains
<http://www.campaignfreedom.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/2014-04-25_Legislative-Review_Wachob_2013-State-Legislative-Trends-Increasing-Contribution-Limits.pdf>,
a Center for Competitive Politics' survey of 2013 state legislative
activity shows that nine states -- Alabama, Arizona, Connecticut,
Florida, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, and Wyoming --
raised or eliminated various campaign contribution limits last year.
Five states increased their limits by 100% or more, two more increased
their limits by 50%, and one repealed its limit on direct corporate
contributions to candidates."

"The Polarized Court" <http://electionlawblog.org/?p=61398>

Must-read Adam Liptak
<http://www.nytimes.com/2014/05/11/upshot/the-polarized-court.html?_r=0>
on the confluence of the ideological and partisan divide on the modern
Supreme Court.
At the end of my piece
<http://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=2130190> on
congressional overrides of the Supreme Court's statutory cases, I
reflect on how perceived partisanship of the Court may effect if, and
how, Congress now overrides the Court.
