[EL] 6th circuit vacates Husted opinion

The NC brief makes much of the fact that the Sixth Circuit panel has 
vacated its opinion in the Ohio early voting case Husted (which was 
stayed by the Supreme Court earlier this week). I know a petition for en 
banc in the case was pending. Can someone shed light on this?  Shades of 
Stewart v. Blackwell (on punch card voting, when the decision got mooted 
before it could be considered---and likely reversed---en banc)?
