[EL] donations to major parties on state income tax forms fall to lowest level in at least 15 years

Ballot Access News has been tracking donations to political parties made by taxpayers on state income tax forms, starting annually in 2000.  Eleven states have such checkoffs.  Donations to the two major parties this year are lower than ever before.  2014 had been the lowest year, but 2015 is only about 75% of what totals were in 2014.
