Some of the quotes indicate support for "full deregulation," and that the
objection is that it's only party coordination deregulation that McConnell
is interested in. I don't think arguments for such equivalence will go very
far.
My takeaway from the article is that the caucus objects to parties being
parties instead of badges. Said caucus doesn't even like the badge at
times, but that's also an issue for another thread.
