Sigh. The "evil LLC" meme returneth anew.
 
Hate to interrupt a good Fugees story, but kind of incomplete discussion in 
 the article. The FEC has long held that "single-member, natural  person" 
LLCs are disclosed in the name of the person. Explanation and  Justification 
for the Treatment of Limited Liability Companies Under the Federal  Election 
Campaign Act, 64 FR 37397, 37399 (July 12, 1999). This is the so-called  
"degree of unity" test.  AO 2009-2 (True Patriot Network). And especially  for 
LLCs that are ONLY political conduits. AO 2009-13 (Black Rock).
