Please join us for a one-day conference bringing together leading scholars
of voter turnout, citizens, advocates, and policymakers to engage in a
conversation about what we know about voter turnout and how to increase it.
Panel presentations will provide brief overviews of recent and innovative
academic research on voter registration and turnout, with discussion
focused on how scholarly research can inform citizen engagement and
policy-making. Topics will include: the effects of election laws;
information and participation; social media and social context; and
research challenges in studying voter registration and turnout. Brief panel
presentations will be followed by audience Q&A.
