Just out of curiosity: It seems like some (but not all) of the folks who believe the “government” (voters, acting through some collective process) should decide who is smart or mature or educated enough to cast a ballot are also the same people who vehemently oppose letting the same said “government” decide on whether there should be any limits on political expenditures and/or contributions. I wonder how they reconcile these two positions (and of course, the same question applies to the other side).
