[EL] Independent expenditures by another name

How about “independent expenditures are the bastard children of contribution limits.” Although I’m not sure any state formally attaches that name.

Thanks for the reply. Alabama does the same as Pennsylvania.

I should have been clearer: I am looking for states that have a definition for something most of the  country calls "independent expenditure" but use another name.
