[EL] Question about on-campus voter registration drives

A team of students at MIT has created a dynamic app to facilitate college students registering to vote.

A question came up in our meeting today about the use of university resources to facilitate (non-partisan) voter registration drives on campus.

I would be happy if someone who is knowledgeable about the question could point me to a resources that discusses legal issues related to campus voter registration drives.  And, to save the rest of the list from spam, I am happy to take the advice individually.
